WHAT I WATCHED LAST WEEK I JULY

 

Hi you guys ^^

Since I spend quite a lot of time at home watching either Netflix or Amazon Prime I thought I could just as well share my thoughts about the bits I´ve watched ;)

Most of the time I am over on Amazon Prime atm but I also started to make my way through everything Netflix Germany has to offer ;) starting with series (still in the middle of D and I started to only mark the ones I find interesting and have not even watch that much ;))

Amazon Prime:

1. CASTLE: I always loved the show a lot and for a long time now and I keep coming back to it. It probably isn´t a very accurate representation of the police everyday but I just love the vibe of it and the character of Richard Castle - he makes me want to be an author so much ;) 
2. THE MENTALIST: another series I´ve watch through several times ... I just seem to like the policy thing do I ;) I love the characters in this show from Patrick Jane to Kimball Cho everyone just grows on you. I also just like the unconventional ways and the balance of humorous and serious matters.
3. A YOUNG DOCTORS DIARY: well I´m not too much into this one yet and I don´t know if I like it too much especially the jumps between past and present which I do not get so far. But I love the way they show the insecurity of the young doctor, the humor in the show and Daniel Radcliffe has always been a fave of mine ;)
4. DR WHO: Well it seems its been my return to old faves week ^^ or month maybe ;) since I have the BBC Player atm I could watch everything from the very beginning including old episodes but again the First Doctor is not included ;) I really want to watch that one
5. TORCHWOOD: after Dr. Who I always seem to come back to Torchwood. It´s been a very long time since I watched Torchwood so most of it is new to me ;) I´m always in between seats of liking and disliking it...changes from episode to episode ;) but in general I don´t really enjoy it atm.

Netflix

1. ANOTHER LIFE: I just started watching this and again I´m not sure what to think about it yet, but I also have to say that I really want to know what happens next and that is a plus for it
2. VIRGIN RIVER: this is such a gorgeous show with romance and tragedy and friendship and everything you need, it´s definitely a series for the heart ;)
3. 24: well...you know I´m quite late to this am I ;) haha well finally I understand many references made to this but also I do not completely get the hype ... I love the concept to be honest it´s unique and new and special and I was amazed by it I also kind of liked the story...I only watched the first season...after the end I had no intension to keep on watching...but it also just was to stretched for my taste...thrilling and everything but I found me self fast forwarding quite often ... ;)
4. GOOD WITCH: another love of mine :) I started watching this when I was sick in bed for a week last year I think and it´s so warming and loving I binge watched everything available ^^ now there is a new season and of cause I had to watch it
5. SWEET MAGNOLIAS: I seem to love the heart-y things on Netflix do I ^^ haha Sweet Magnolias is another one filled with love and friendship loss and sadness - a lot of real life problems but also a lot of real life magic
6. AMERICAN HORROR STORY: well do I have to say a lot about this one? ;) I found it again on my journey through ABC in Netflix series and realised there are several seasons I have not watched and so I decided to start it all over again ^^ I am done with season 1 now and onto 2 and unfortunately I have to say it´s not as good when you rewatch it :( but still amazing ;)
7. ARROW: well I started watching Arrow when it was new and stopped then...don´t remember why so I found it in Neflix series under A and thought my not watch it again and finish it this time ;)
8. KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS: I know I´m a tiiiny bit late to that am I ;) but you know it´s finally on Netflix Germany so I just dive into it ^^ I´m not to far bur I know Drama will come ^^ I love having it on in the background but I don´t think it´s a full attention thing
9. 3BELOW: TALES OF ARCADIA: I found this one again via the ABC series list and I really like it ^^ is wonderful and I love the cross over with others like Trollhunter

Aaaaand thats it ^^ 

there are just so so so many tv shows/series out there you probably need a life to watch it all but I´ll just try one at a time ;)
