AN OLD CLASSIC FOR THIS NEW SPRING SEASON - MAC PRO LONGWEAR PAINT POT IN PAINTERLY

This Paint Pot is probably one of the best known products by Mac and I am so very sure there are millions of reviews about this - and here it is: one million and one ^^

I´ve seen so many well known Beauty Bloggers and Youtubers talk about this since...probably since the beginning of it all - the product reviews and youtube videos ;) and I was very intrigued by the paint pots as they´ve been recommended by so many.

One of the amazing things about this product is that it´s such an all-rounder. It acts as a primer, as a concealer and as an amazing eye shadow base.

The main reason why I went for the Painterly Shade is to be honest because everyone had it ;) hahaha yap that´s the truth and I gotta say I see why ;) 

Well its not as bright as I imagined it to be and a bit too pink toned to be the perfect shade and colour but it works very nicely.

Opposite to my expectation it does not accentuate the colour of the eye shadow or makes brighter colours pop a lot more but also I do like how easy it makes blending and that the eye shadows stay on nicely.
So I see a difference in how long the shadows stay but no difference in the appearance of the colour of the eye shadow.

One quite important thing I wanted to add here is that I have the feeling that this product dries out very quickly which makes it a lot harder to use...it melts into a better form when you warm it up a bit with your hands or use it with your fingers but that actually is not what I want to do all the time...

In the and I gotta say I am really not sure if I´m going to repurchase this once it is empty or if I ´ll ever use it up at all...
I do like it enough to say maybe get it if you have the money and want to spend it but if you actually are on a budget and just want to treat yourself to something I´d say get one of the other amazing products you can get from Mac ;)
Oh and I actually thought about maybe just trying it in another shade one day...but that is after I tried all the other products similar to this out there ^^
I never had an actual bad experience or reaction but also no outstanding amazing one - its just ya well I have it but I could have lived without it ;) even tho I really love it as an eye shadow base.
